Holiday Rental Cottage Description
The Old Posthouse Annexe is situated at the foot of 'Crook Peak' a National Trust beauty spot in Axbridge and has lots of country walks from the door step.
It is on an easy route to all destinations including Cheddar, Glastonbury, City of Wells, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare and many more.
An ideal base for walkers and nature enthusiasts. We are 300 yds from the River Axe and a short drive to the picturesque Somerset Levels.
Although The Old Posthouse Annexe has one bedroom there is further sleeping facilities in the lounge area (double futon bed). Full kitchen facilities and a bathroom with bath and shower.
There is also a small rear courtyard with bar-b-q and seating for warm evenings.
2 mins walk (stroll!) from the front door the is The Lamb, which is a friendly local Pub providing great meals and local ales.
The Old Posthouse Annexe is found by taking junction 22 of the M5 and following signs for Cheddar and Axbridge on the A38. You will see signs for Lower Weare. When you see The Lamb pub on the left we are four cottages away on the left also, just before the turning to Cross.
