Here we have a lovely 2 bed garden apartment furnished to a high level with every amenity available. The garden is secluded and calm with a patio area perfect for sunning or having breakfast. The lounge has a double sofa bed providing sleeping for 6.
2 minutes walk takes you to the beaches of Foz and if you go a little further north you find Matosinhos, famous for it's fish restaurants and its long, white sandy beaches, home to surfers and bathers. This area along the coast has recently been totally re-developed and now boasts miles of secure walk ways and cycle paths by the sea. Truly beautiful and calming place. The rocks are renowned for their healing properties and people come from all over Portugal to bathe and sun themselves here.
The Parc de Cidade (City Park) is just by our property and is an expanse of tended park that goes down to the sand - great for walking, riding, cycling etc.
Food stores, butcher, bakery,bank,chemist,tea shop, cafes and restaurants are all within a short walking distance from the flat and there is a dedicated parking space for those who wish to rent a car to explore more of the north of Portugal and into Spain. A bus will take you directly from this place to downtown to Ribeira and the train station.
