Holiday Rental Cottage DescriptionThe barn is situated in the oldest part of the beautiful unspoilt village of Trausse Minervois.As the name suggests, the barn is situated in the heart of the Minervois region, and is totally central for all that the Languedoc region offers. Most of the Cathar sites are within 30 minutes,as is the Canal du Midi and local boat trips. The ancient village of Minerve, perched on the Gorge de Cesse is only 10 minutes away. 40 minutes wil take you to the beaches at Narbonne or into the Pyrenees. The barn has a tiny courtyard entry. On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen to the right,fully equipped with all crockery, cutlery and utensils, and a pantry leading off the stairs. There is an lounge/diner with two comfortable sofas, and a new dining table and chairs. . Additional heaters/fans are available. A CD player, radio and books are available for your use. (Bring your own CD's!) There is a detailed Area Guide ,maps, and plenty of tourist info for your use. There is also a Guest Guide which gives you full details on the use of the house - even restaurant recommendations and essential emergency numbers. Upstairs there is one double bedroom and one twin bedded room, each furnished with a wardrobe, bedside table and lamps. The double room has a spacious balcony with a small table and two chairs. The balcony can also be accessed from the landing- and is a great place for your evening drinks! Or you can take the chairs and table down to the entry courtyard. The bathroom is a large room, with a bath and overhead shower plus a shower screen. The sink is contained in a vanity unit, The toilet is on the opposite wall. At the rear of the room there is a washing machine and iron and ironing board. Please note that washing powder is not provided, as everyone likes something different! CHANGEOVER DAY is at your request. Guests are asked to arrive after 1500 and to leave prior to 1100 on departure day. QUOTED RATES: The rates quoted are for four guests occupying the barn. If a couple book the barn, the rates are reduced by 200 euros per week. The property can accommodate one baby FREE - a cot is available at no extra charge! Other small persons occupying their own cot are FREE!!! 50% of the rate is required to secure the booking. The security deposit and balance are required 8 weeks prior to the arrival date. All payments are in euros and payable via Paypal invoices emailed to you. SECURITY DEPOSIT: A refundable security deposit of 200 euros per booking, is required to cover damages/extra cleaning.
