Holiday Rental Villa DescriptionThe villa named "Zygi Maria" is very well laid out with solid comfortable furniture and is also light and airy. The two bedrooms are air conditioned with full remote control and downstairs there is a double sized air conditioning unit for your convenience. Within the villa's private garden is a larger than normal 10m x 5m chlorine swimming pool for the sole use of our clients. Please visit our website at www.cyprusprivatevilla.co.uk for further information.The village of Zygi is geographically positioned pretty much central for the three main cities in Cyprus making it a perfect starting point for your holiday. Limassol is 22 mile West, Larnaca is 25 mile East and both can be reached by motorway or the coastal route which takes you through more beautiful villages. From Paphos airport to the village of Zygi will take you 60 minutes and the roads are 98% motorway. From Larnaca airport the journey will take 35 minutes and again is 98% motorway. Here in the village of Zygi there are plenty of restaurants, mainly seafood-restaurants, offering a large variety of the very best fresh seafood. Zygi also boasts supermarkets, several fast food take-away/restaurants, snack bar and a fruit market at the weekend. A further two minutes drive away there is a bakery, chemist, bookmakers, fresh fish shop, three mini markets, fresh fruit and veg store, handy DIY store, petrol station and a Cyprus style snack bar with licensed drinks. Night life is limited in the village of Zygi at present to restaurants and tavernas so if it is nightclubs and loud music you are after I suggest you grab a taxi into Limassol or Larnaca. Today Zygi is a developing tourist village and the most known and renowned fishermen's village of Cyprus. The clean sea breeze, the amazing natural environment of the region, and the deep blue, clear sea are the reasons that lead a lot of people into building their country houses/ cottages in the area. The whole tranquillity and harmony that prevails in the surrounding area provides an outlet for the pressure and stress of the large, modern urban centres. Zygi is one of the most attractive seaside villages in Cyprus. The village is popular with locals and visitors alike who find Zygi a relaxing, hospitable place to live and very difficult to leave! |
