Holiday Rental Condo DescriptionOur ground floor Florida home in Pelican Sound is relaxing, comfortable and quiet. It is nicely decorated and furnished with an open plan living room (LCD TV and DVD),a fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and a dining area with a lake view. We have a den with TV,DVD and Video. The settee in here can be converted into a double bed for the visitors who find out you are in Florida when its minus degrees elsewhere! There are two bedrooms, the master with a large ensuite shower room, walk in closet and a door to the lanai; the second bedroom is comfortable,although not a large room, has a queen bed and a fitted closet with an adjacent bathroom. A door closes off these two rooms from the main area, allowing a further degree of privacy if two couples are sharing. There is a separate laundry room.Eat at home,with a lovely view of the fountains in the lake or book a table at the golf or river club restaurants. Actually, you will be spoilt for choice of restaurants in the area of Estero, Bonita Springs and Naples - you need never eat in! But, when you drive through the gates into Pelican Sound, west of US41, you will forget that you are only a short drive away from some of the best shopping in the area. For the whole of your stay you become full members of this lively golf and river club, with everything it has to offer. You have all you need for a great holiday right here, including 27 holes of championship golf, lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, fitness center, five swimming pools with hot tubs (the best one only a few minutes walk away) free use of canoes, rowboats, kayaks and river shuttle to the Gulf. The private ferry takes you down river to the bay and out into the Gulf of Mexico to Lovers Key beach, a lovely state park. The wildlife is different every trip but dolphins are regular visitors as well as the ever-present pelicans. This is a real plus to our club and not to be missed.
