Holiday Rental Gite DescriptionRegistered with Gers Tourism- 3 étoiles.Picardie a 'tourelle', (little tower), is a three storey South facing gite ideal for a couple, two or three people if the lounge is used as a second bedroom. The ground floor comprises of a hall leading to the large and airy kitchen, which is equipped with fridge/freezer, a microwave, a gas oven with four gas rings, gas kettle, electric coffee machine, hand whisk/blender, cutlery, crockery and pans etc. The bathroom is also situated on the ground floor and has a bath/shower, toilet and basin. The lounge is on the first floor, complete with two armchairs and a sofa for your comfort and also French television, English satellite television, a video player, a radio/cassette/CD player and selection of books. The bedroom is on the top floor with a double bed, a ceiling fan and stunning views of the Pyrénées mountains. This is also a good vantage point from which to watch the varied and abundant wildlife. Picardie is fully centrally heated with thermostat controls for Winter lets and fans provided for Summer lets. There is also the use of two separate barbecue areas, floodlit swimming pool with solar shower, laundry room, games room, bicycle hire and mountainboard hire and wireless ADSL internet access. Owners are both qualified Initiateurs, licenced with the FFCT and are always more than happy to accompany or guide you on your outing whatever your cycling experience may be. This department is one of the least populated in France and with immediate access from the house, we can show you literally 100's of kilometres of tracks and trails tucked away in the beautiful countryside, to suit all abilities.
